Māori and Pasifika Trades Training

Māori and Pasifika trades training enables Māori and Pasifika students in tertiary education to gain relevant skills and qualifications so they can participate and be successful in the workplace. This Initiative aims to ensure more Māori and Pasifika learners, aged 16-40, can obtain meaningful trades qualifications and apprenticeships. This Initiative seeks new approaches to engaging Māori and Pasifika students in tertiary education to create and strengthen learning pathways, improve employment outcomes, and increase the number of learners entering into level 4 New Zealand Apprenticeships.
